A MoniTag™ is your permanent username on Monipay. It resolves to your wallet on every supported chain , Base, BSC, Solana, Tempo and beyond. One identity, every network.

MoniTag™ is always written with a lowercase m, an uppercase T, and the ™ trademark symbol. Examples: @samuel, @coffeeshop, @dao_treasury.

Why MoniTag instead of an address?

Crypto addresses are 42 hexadecimal characters with no error correction. One typo and your money is gone forever. A MoniTag is:

Naming rules

3–20 characters
Lowercase letters (a–z), digits (0–9), dot (.), underscore (_)
Cannot start or end with . or _
Cannot be on the reserved list (~150 brand and generic terms)

Linking social accounts

Optionally connect Twitter/X, Discord and Telegram to your MoniTag. This unlocks MoniBot social payments , receive money replied to your tweet or DM'd to you on Discord. Linking is via OAuth handshake (Discord) or return_to callbacks (Telegram). You can unlink at any time from Settings.
