Does MoniPay hold my funds?

No. MoniPay is non-custodial. Your funds live on the blockchain, and your keys live on your device.

What if I lose my PIN?

If you have set up Cloud Backup, you can recover your account using your original PIN. If you lose your PIN and have no backup, MoniPay cannot recover your funds.

Is MoniPay regulated?

MoniPay is a decentralized protocol. We provide the software tools for you to manage your own funds. Users are responsible for complying with their local regulations.

Fees

How much does MoniPay cost?

We charge a flat 1% fee on all transactions. There are no monthly fees, setup fees, or gas fees for users.

Who pays the gas fees?

MoniPay's relayer network sponsors 100% of the gas fees for our users.

Usage

Can I send money to someone who doesn't have MoniPay?

Yes! You can send funds to any Twitter handle via MoniBot. The funds will be held in a secure escrow contract until the recipient creates a MoniPay account to claim them.

Which chains are supported?

Currently, we support Base (USDC), BNB Chain (USDT), and Tempo (aUSD). Solana support is coming soon.
